Dr. Mounika Falemban
Dr. Mounika Falemban has an extensive clinical training; she practiced General Dentistry for over ten years. She earned her Doctorate in Dental Medicine and Surgery degree from the Dental School in King Abdulaziz University in KSA, affiliated with the School of Dental Medicine in Tufts University. She then went on to obtain her Specialty and Master's degree in Pediatric Dentistry from the Goldman School of Dental Medicine in Boston University.
Prior to her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Falemban dedicated a year of her time as a dental volunteer for the American Red Cross in Hawaii and has traveled internationally for training in the United Kingdom of Great Britain. She is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is a member of the College of Diplomats in Pediatric Dentistry.
She resides in Tampa and in her spare time she enjoys watching the Tampa Bay Lightning Hockey team.
Ms. Fran Duesler
Ms. Fran, our Manager and a very important staff member of our team. She is one of the practice's pillars.
Ms. Fran has been working in pediatrics for over 30 years. Her love of children is what has kept her working in this field; talking with them, seeing their smiles, and hearing their laughter is invigorating. Originally from Ohio she moved to Florida 5 years ago with her husband. She has three sons and many grandkids.
When Ms. Fran is not working, she enjoys golfing, going to the beach, and playing with her dogs and birds.
Ms. Maria E. Mertely, CDA/CRDH
Ms. Maria has more than 20 years of experience in the dental field. She worked as a dental assistant for 10 years before deciding to advance her career by pursuing an education in dental hygiene. She began working as a dental hygienist in 2007 and is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association and the Hillsborough Dental Hygiene Association. After seeing the positive impact of her accomplishments on the oral hygiene and general health of her patients, her passion for dentistry has only intensified.
On her time off, Maria enjoys her family and friends, finds new restaurants around town, travels, and spends time with her husband. She is an active member of her community and volunteers for St. Vincent De Paul on Fridays, providing food and resources to those in need.
